Football – Named to All County League second team, 1939 Football – Played three years for Bay High School: 1937, 1938 and 1939 Basketball – Set school scoring record of 27 points in 1940 Basketball – Named to First Basketball – Named to Second Team All Scholastic, 1940 Basketball – Played three years for Bay High School: 1938, 1939 and 1940 Baseball – Played fouryears for Bay High School: 1937, 1938, 1939 and 1940 Elected freshman Class President and senior Class President.

Football – Played four years for Bay High School: 1945, 1946, 1947 and 1948 Basketball – Starting forward for 1947-48 and 1948-49 teams. Basketball – Defeated Westlake in Championship playoff in 1949.. Basketball – Named to Cuyahoga County All Star Team. Basketball – Undefeated at home games during entire Bay High career. Basketball – Twice broke the individual Bay High scoring record. Basketball – Played four years for Bay High School: 1945-46, 1946-47, 1947-48, and 1948-49 Track – Ran for Bay High School in 1949
